Today we did a groupflight with a Cessna and a Piper of our Club.

The flight took us from Thun(LSZW) to Lausanne(LSGL) then for Lunch to Sion(LSGS) a coffee in Gruyères(LSGT) and back for a afterflight Beer in Thun(LSZW).

The whole flight was planned within minutes from scratch with MFDVFR on a iPad mini Retina 32gb with all the relevant data at hand.
After the W&B, done with Aviation W&B, I had plenty of Time to do the preflight check as my collegues where still planning theire routes with Airnav Pro or by Paper Chart.

I never had a issue on all four legs, never a crash or overheat.

So I would give a BIG Thank You to the whole Jeppesen Mobile Flight Deck Team for the great work You allready did and still do.

Kind regards a happy user

Dear all,

I agree with Philippe and I have the same experience: MFD VFR makes flight planning very quick.

But there is one software inconvenience with latest revisions that was not there in the beginning:

When I want to enter departure, destination or waypoints the software needs very long to show the next window where I type in the exact airport or waypoint. I do not get any feedback, that the software has recognized what i want to do.

In earlier versions, the software acted immediately on user input in every window.

Can you please check and improve. If speed can not be improved at least there should be a clock / wheel indicating the user input was recognized.

Thank you and best regards.

Frank

Dear all,

the software action on user input in V2.0 is improved compared to versions 1.5.x  and entering waypoints in the text menu works faster again. Thank you.

As well, if I tap on the "magnifying glass"-sign to reach the search function, the sign chances color, to indicate that the user input has been recognized. Thank you as well.

The feature with the color change should be used more often, to indicate that user input has been recognized. There are some menues, that need time to load and a second input interrupts the loading.

Best regards
Frank
