Hi Jeppesen

I found some data related issues, as it seems to be in Database Cycle 4/6/2013

  • EDFH Frankfurt-Hahn, GAT is not shown on the Airport Diagram
  • LSZR St.Gallen/Altenrhein, Runway is not shown on the Airport Diagram
  • ETOR Mannheim/Coleman, CTR is not longer active
  • EDLR Paderborn-Haxterberg, Asphalt Runway seems to be layered below Grass RWY
  • EDGS Siegerland, Obstacle in front of RWY13 seems to be wrong
  • EDLI Bielefeld, Taxiway Designators on Holding Points A/B/D are missing
  • EDFY Elz, Traffic Pattern altitude is missing (1400ft)
  • EDRK Koblenz-Winningen, VFR Night operations are available as far as I know
  • EDCY Spemberg-Welzow, VFR Night operations are available as it is published on the website

Greetings

Where is the general information (hours of operation, operator tel #, ..) provided in the Aerodrome Directory of the paper version?

Karlstadt Saupurzel has a different frequency: 123,475

Hello,

Within the app you find all this kind information directly by tapping on the airport diagram on the map. Within the paper version (VFR Manual) it is part of the Aerdrome directory (text portion).

Hope that helps,

Markus

Hi

  • LSZG Taxiway designators W1 and E1 are missing.
  • LSZG Glider Sectors are missing. They are activated by ATIS and entry is prohibited.

I am running JeppFD on my ipad, and would like to run jeppView flight deck on a potabler device. I know it cannot play off an ipad, but can it be loaded on any of the tablets for instance samsung or other android tablets?

Hello,

there are different products out there, so we need to be very specific:

"Mobile FliteDeck VFR" (Where this webpage is about): iPad and iPad mini.

"Mobile FliteDeck", also known as Mobile FD (the traditional app, based on the JeppView subscription): iPad and iPad mini.

"Mobile TC": the first app Jeppesen introduced for the iPad, and which shows the Terminal Charts only, and which is also based on the JeppView subscription: iPad, Ipad mini and a couple of Android devices, like Samsung Galaxy tab.

"JeppView" (the normal one): Windows, designed for PC's and laptops.

"JeppView Flitedeck": also for Windows, available on the same DVD as JeppView, but designed for portable Windows tablet PCs. Runs also with the JeppView subsription.

Hope that helps,

Markus
