Hallo Marcel,

Hi together,

is there anybody in this 'MFDVFR to FF' decision making team who has a bit of knowledge of flying VFR in Europe and especially in Germany?
If yes, I would like to post a simple and typical 50nm trip planning done in MFDVFR and would ask him to do the same thing in FF.
Maybe this would be helpful to understand, why a long time MFDVFR user cannot step back into the century where navigation software used scanned maps as background...

hi everybody,

i'm not that surprised and also not that disappointed - to be honest, if you scroll a bit through the "future enhancements", you'll see that almost every "wish" is fulfilled in foreflight. flightplanning is so much better (you can print your briefing/navlog!), it's quite easy to integrate a stratus/stratux and get traffic on the map including flarm, w/b, checklists, audio alerts (with an "soundcheck button - i'm quite sure i read this somewhere in the forum), you can use two ipads and one iphone and so on ...

on the other hand, the map - claudio did the comparison!! i just HOPE that "basemap enhancements" means something like, we'll have the MFDVFR charts integrated in foreflight.

with crossed fingers,

Hi everyone ...

>> We sincerely appreciate your business.

Sorry, at least for what concern myself (as an hobby VFR pilot) .... no you don't.

See my extensive comparison between the maps quality in JVFRMFD and For..., posted in the "future enhancements" forum (what an ironic name now).

Bye bye Jeppesen.
